Appcash · Fintech mobile application
Building a secure personal-credit platform from the ground up
Over a 6 to 12 month engagement, Ficode engineered Appcash from scratch: a connected personal-credit platform bringing together loan applications and approvals, banking-data integrations, credit scoring, peer-to-peer credit, payments and administration tools.

Applications, approvals and repaymentsA connected lending experience, built from the ground up
Appcash was conceived to help users connect bank accounts, view banking history and use credit-scoring information in a personal-credit experience involving friends and family.
Ficode implemented a hybrid mobile interface, banking-related APIs, microservices and an administration platform.
Connect lending, banking and repayments in one secure mobile journey
The challenge was to build a complete fintech product—not simply an app interface. It needed to connect external banking information with credit scoring, loan requests and approvals, peer-to-peer credit and repayments while providing dependable performance, appropriate permissions and a usable customer journey.

Integrated third-party PSD2 APIs for bank linking and access to required account information, alongside IBAN verification.
Customer-focused hybrid mobile application
Built an intuitive hybrid mobile interface with swipe-based navigation for bank linking, credit applications, lending interactions and repayments.
Credit and transaction workflows
Engineered modular services for credit scoring, loan applications and approvals, transfers or repayments, and interactions between friends and family.
Administration platform
Delivered an administrative interface for application oversight, customer queries, static information and configurable values, reducing routine administration.
Security controls designed into the lending and banking journey
Ficode implemented encryption for sensitive data, multi-factor authentication, role-based access control, secure API authentication and audit logging. GDPR-related safeguards were considered as part of the implementation. These are implemented controls, not a claim of independent regulatory certification.
