How Ficode Built an Assessment Authoring Platform with AI Drafting and Educator Review
Ficode built an HTML5 authoring platform that helps authors draft questions from topics or source content, select difficulty and approve content before publication. Separate logins support authors, teachers and students, with basic activity analytics for teachers.
The project in context
The client needed a digital assessment workflow for authors, teachers and students. Ficode built a template-based HTML5 authoring panel with AI-assisted question drafting from topics or source content. Authors can select difficulty, review the drafts and make changes before approving publication.
Reducing repeated preparation while keeping authors responsible for publication
Authors had to draft questions and configure interaction types manually. The platform needed reusable templates and a way to produce first drafts, while retaining author review before learners saw the content. Teachers also needed basic visibility into attendance and quiz attempts.
