Modernising a Veterinary Healthcare Platform on AWS
Ficode migrated a multi-component veterinary healthcare platform to AWS, introduced review-gated CI/CD for web, backend, desktop and iOS, and configured a cross-region recovery workflow alongside security and operations controls.
The project in context
The platform serves thousands of active subscribers and spans React frontends, Node.js services, iOS and Windows/macOS desktop applications. Ficode moved infrastructure from constrained, manually managed cloud instances to a governed AWS environment. Production, development and staging follow a shared operating model; Ficode continues enhancements and monthly support.

Backend services shared limited resources, with memory pressure affecting Node.js workloads. Manual SSH-based deployments lacked consistent review and audit trails, while backup and regional recovery controls needed improvement.
